I’m so excited to be picking up my pail of cherries from CherryLand’s Best this morning!

Tart cherries are the quintessential pie cherry, and really, the quality of cherries that grow in Door County are unmatched.

You may be asking, “what will she do with a whole pail of cherries?”  Well, some will be frozen, preserved, and turned into homemade jams to enjoy when I need a pick-me-up during the cold, dreary days of winter. But many will find their way into sweet and savory dishes alike. I will report with mouth-watering photos as I put my culinary skills to use.

Stay tuned!

P.S. I will also eventually get around to sharing a bit about the final days of my culinary school adventures, and what’s next on the horizon!
